By creating an account or playing ValueBattles you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the game. Questions and reports: see Contact & abuse or write to support@valuebattles.com.

Who can play: adults only (18+)

You must be at least 18 years old. Players see and hear strangers live, so the game is not for children, and children must not appear on camera. One person per account; keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what happens on your account. If we learn that a player is under 18, we close the account.

It's a game: the prices are guesses

Values are quick estimates by an AI from a single camera image. They are often wrong and are not an appraisal, valuation or financial advice. Don't rely on them to buy, sell, insure or argue about anything. Brand and product names are only used to describe what a player showed; ValueBattles is not affiliated with, sponsored or endorsed by any brand that appears in the game.

Your camera, voice and what you show

• Your opponent sees your camera and hears you live (voice chat, which you can turn off), and in public battles spectators can too.
• Don't show or say: nudity or sexual content, violence or gore, self-harm, weapons used to threaten, illegal items or activity, drugs, hateful symbols, slurs or threats, other people's personal information (IDs, bank cards, documents), or anyone who hasn't agreed to be filmed. No children on camera.
• Don't record or share other players' camera feeds or voices without their permission.

Fair play and respect

• No cheating: don't automate the game, tamper with the app or the server, exploit bugs, or feed the camera pre-made images or videos to farm points.
• No harassment, bullying, hate or spam: in voice chat, usernames, avatars, reactions or anywhere else.
• Don't use the game to collect other players' information or to contact them outside the game against their will.

How we keep it safe

• Automatic filter: the same AI that prices your items also checks each scanned frame, and every avatar you upload, for nudity, gore, hate symbols and children. If it flags a frame, your camera is hidden from everyone for the rest of that battle; several flags in a day suspend the account for 24 hours. Flagged images are never stored.
• Report and block: in a battle, on the results screen or on a profile you can report a player and block them (you'll never be matched again). Reports are reviewed by a person.
• What we may do: remove content, reset scores or leaderboard entries, and suspend or permanently ban accounts that break these rules. Serious illegal content may be reported to the authorities.

The service

ValueBattles is provided "as is", for fun, without guarantees: it may be unavailable, games may be cut off by updates or outages, and features may change or end. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, lost progress or anything caused by relying on an AI price. Nothing here limits rights you have by law as a consumer.

Your content

You keep ownership of your avatar and anything you show. You let us use it only as needed to run the game (for example showing your avatar to other players, or sending a frame to the AI for appraisal and the safety check). To report content that infringes your copyright, see Contact & abuse.

Ending

You can delete your account any time in Settings → Account. We may update these terms; the date above changes when we do, and for important changes we'll ask you to accept them again in the game.
